Why choose round based lifting bags?
A round base hugs a cylindrical load. Nothing rattles around inside, and the bag itself slips through narrow spaces where a square-cornered bag would snag. Take the DRLB2500. At just 350mm across yet 2500mm tall, it carries long, awkward items with ease and passes through tight gaps on site, whilst offering a 500kg working load limit.
Smaller bags for personnel use
Not every lift needs a crane. Several of the smaller bags in the range double up for personnel use and come with padded shoulders and adjustable webbing. The DRLB400 is a great example. It measures 400mm in diameter by 800mm tall and sits comfortably on your back between jobs. Hands stay free for ladders and access points, which makes a real difference on a busy site.
A double reinforced base as standard
Spot DRLB in the product code and you’re looking at our double reinforced base range. The base is made from a double layer of our standard fabric – 900gsm PVC coated polyester – for additional protection right where wear happens first. The fabric is water resistant too, and rated for temperatures from -30°C to +70°C.
Like everything we make, each bag is tested and load rated to a clearly stated working load limit, so you can lift with confidence.
Tool inserts and handy extras
Engineers, this one’s for you. Some of our smaller round based bags, such as the STB25 and STB38, offer a removable tool insert. Tools stay organised and easy to reach, shift after shift. Both are compact at 150mm in diameter, yet are still rated to a 40kg working load limit.
There’s more you can add across the range. A plastic insert gives extra protection to the base of the bag. We can print your logos or labels and sew them securely in place. And with eleven colours to choose from – red, orange, yellow, lime green, dark green, light blue, dark blue, purple, brown, grey and black – just ask us for a colour swatch and pick the shade that suits your team.
