What standards are the bags made to? +

All Pinpoint bags are manufactured in accordance with the below standards:

EN1492-1 – A European standard specifying safety, testing, and manufacturing requirements for flat woven webbing slings made from polyester, polyamide, or polypropylene.

EC Machinery Directive 98/37EC – The consolidated European Union legislation (effective 1998–2009) governing the health and safety requirements for manufacturing machinery and safety components.

SI2307 (or LOLER) in conjunction with PUWER 

EN ISO 12402-7 + A1:2011

What is a Manufactures Certificate of Conformity? +

All approved Pinpoint goods are issued with their own manufacturers certificate of conformity. This states the invoice details, the bag serial number, test number and the description and any specific information for that order. 

The manufacturers certificate of conformity combines the relevant standards Pinpoint products are designed in accordance with and can be used as a document of traceability to the construction for that batch of lifting bags.

Where are you lifting bags manufactured? +

All of our lifting bags are manufactured at our site in South Wales, UK.  This means that we have complete control over our manufacturing process ensuring every lifting bag we send out meets our strict quality standards

Do you supply your bags outside of the UK? +

Absolutely, our lifting bags are in use all around the world, and we regularly supply direct to our customers in many different countries.

How long is the general lead time? +

All of our bags are made to order, so lead time can vary and is available upon request, but we always aim to get your order out as soon as possible. If you have a deadline, just make us aware and we will ensure that we meet it.
