Members of The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA)
The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association is the leading trade association for all companies involved in the lifting industry and supplying lifting equipment. They promote enhanced standards and sustainable development for the worldwide Lifting and Safety Industry. They aim to educate, influence, and enable so that best practice is normal practice for all companies in the lifting sector. All new members go through a thorough application process, including a face-to-face technical audit. Only having completed this process are companies admitted as members of the Association.
We follow guidance from the LEEA for any areas that cover the scope of the bags we manufacture and supply. Following this guidance ensures our bags are as safe and compliant as possible, so clients feel secure knowing that lifting bags from Pinpoint Manufacturing are of the highest quality.
ISO 9001 Accreditation
Having ISO 9001 accreditation shows our commitment to our customer relationships and service. Also, it shows that we are managing our company correctly and have plans and structures to keep improving our products and services and growing our business. Our ISO 9001 accreditation is reviewed annually via an audit to ensure we are still performing at this level. We are proud to announce we recently passed the 2023-2024 audit with flying colours and without any rectification actions required!
We are incredibly proud to hold ISO 9001 accreditation covering Quality Management. ISO defines this standard as “based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001 helps ensure that customers get consistent good-quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits” [source].
Members of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB)
We are members of the Federation of Small Businesses, which means that should we ever require small business advice or support, the FSB are happy to provide this. They have a helpful website with lots of information for small businesses like ours, and they cover various topics. Additionally, they’re always available to help and give advice over the phone, and we’ve always found them very happy to assist us.
